Who's not read Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice and wondered - just for second - what it would be like to step into that much-loved dating heartland and bag a dashing (rich/generous) fella like Darcy.

Yeah right. There's only one reason why I selected The Dolphin People by Torsten Krol.
A reviewer on the cover who called it: "A mythical epic which might just be the new Life of Pi."
When will I learn never to trust these people?
I remember when I finished Ian McEwan's On Chesil Beach.
I burst into tears and looked at my other half, who was looking distinctly unimpressed.
For years my annual summer treat to myself has been to choose a book at the airport ahead of flying out on a (hopefully hot/glamorous/luxurious) holiday...
