I don't know whether to be offended.

I walked into work to find someone had left a book on my desk.

It was the book pictured left - Who's Afraid of Jane Austen by Henry Hitchens.

Those of you who love to read about the fair city of Liverpool may have come across Anne Bennett's novels.

Even though Anne was born and raised in Birmingham she loves to write about this city in wartime.

Okay, so summer is nearly over and even the MPs and children will soon be back from their ridiculously long summer breaks.

Still, there's always a chance some of you will find time to go away for some late summer sun and if you do... I know your secret.

Well, I've finally decided to go for it and have booked a two week trip to the country in November.
